WHERE WE ARE

Welcome to the Oak Bowery church of Christ web site. Oak Bowery is an independent church of Christ located about three miles north of the Shady Grove Road on County Road 1107 in Pike County, Alabama. To get there from Troy, take the Shady Grove Road from US 231 and go northwest to County Road 1107. Turn Right and go three miles north to Oak Bowery Church. From Montgomery, take Montg. Co. Road 39 south to the Pike County line. Continue south on Pike County Rd. 1107 about three miles to Oak Bowery Church. The mailing address is Oak Bowery Church of Christ, 2283 County Road 1107, Goshen, Alabama 36035.

WHO WE ARE

We are undenominational and have no central headquarters or president. The head of the church is none other than Jesus Christ himself.(Ephesians 1:22-23)

Each congregation of the churches of Christ is autonomous, and it is the Word of God that unites us into One Faith (Ephesians 4:3-6). We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and his holy Apostles, and not the teachings of man. We are Christians only!
